LOOK AT ME, GRANNY!

Christina is an eleven-year-old girl who doesn’t like staying at her grandmother’s.
Granny lives alone on a farm and she hasn’t got a television, a computer or even a telephone. There’s just work to do and rules to obey.
Christina’s parents have to leave for Vienna on Christmas Eve and they send their daughter down to stay with Granny.
That night, Granny gets sick, has a fever and starts to talk gibberish. Help takes time to arrive because of a massive snowstorm and so Christina has to look after Granny all by herself and things only get worse when the power goes off and she is forced to battle with her fear of the dark.
Thankfully, she is able to call on help from her imaginary friends, the Cavies. She also receives help from a strange, old man who arrives at the house despite the thick snow and high winds.
He turns out to be Granny’s high-school sweetheart who comes to visit her every year.
Christina grows up within the space of a single night because she shows that she can be depended on in a crisis. And she even grows to like her grandmother.
Drama, humour, reality and mystery.
