Lance Kondor’s parents are divorced and the boy travels around Europe in his dad’s lorry. Lance, with the help of a few friends, “kidnaps” himself to stop his mother getting married and to bring his dad home again. Inspector Derek Hecheki helps the children with their plan although this might get him into a lot of trouble. This contagiously exciting work has been made into a successful film.
