LET’S GO HOME

The parents of the 12-year-old Robert and the 6-year-old Esther send the children on holiday to relatives in mum's little Hungarian home village Kokas. The children are abashed at the unusual circumstances, characters, lifestyles, customs, traditions, and other strange experiences. They want to go home immediately by any means.
However, the parents do not let them escape: they think coping with difficulties is a significant way of education.
The two hardheaded children run away from the Hungarian village, and start to travel westwards in the company of a dog and a horse.
Wandering throughout the country they experience several exciting, humorous, but sometimes risky adventures, while everyone is looking for them. They stay with a traveling circus, performing a horse show and singing the English anthem. Later it turns out that the ring-master carries people across the borderr illegally?
At the border policemen and worried parents are waiting for the children. Robert and Esther are not in the circus wagon. Through the long journey the children got to know and love Hungary. They decided to go home. But which home?
